HOW IT ALL STARTED...
I've loved photography for as far back as I can remember. Starting with disposable cameras that the film had to be taken to the 1 hour photo section inside of our local grocery store, getting my very first digital camera at around 14, progressing to my phone camera, to a smart phone camera, and always dreaming of that "professional" camera. My husband finally MADE me buy my first Nikon after I had been eyeing it for over a year, but always making excuses to myself as to why I can't buy it yet.
June 2019, Dancing Willow Photography was born. The name deriving from my youngest child, Willow Dawn, who has danced any chance she gets since 2 months old (yes, really). Her name in itself, being derived from some of the most very favorite memories of my husband and myself together thus far...duck hunting in the willow bushes as the dawn rises in the marsh.
I've enjoyed photography as my life-long hobby. Now as a Mama & with turning it into a profession, I am using it to try to teach my children how to chase their dreams...
